Doing the "Pink Buttercream" today and I'm liking it. It's not super strong, but you definitely can detect the scent and it is flowing through the whole house.

Black Magic: soothing, clean, unisex scent. As a wax melt, I would consider its scent throw strong (an 8 on a scale of 1-10). I got about 24 hours of scent out of it using a 25-watt light bulb warmer, although the strength did start to fade around halfway through. It would be a great choice for a lotion or body wash, for either a man or a woman to use!

You know my fav. Lemon, Coffee Bean, Macintosh, Elegant Orchid some new Fav. Ginger Bergamot, Cracklin Birch. The first time my boyfriend smelled Elegant Orchid he went crazy, It’s a very seductive fragrance, so nice, def. a bedroom or bathroom smell. Fresh and Clean cucumber is a nice clean smell, just got the soap and body spray in it, I love it, Cheryl, you are the best.

So far my favorites are Black Magic, Blue Moon, Pear Glace, and Cedar & Saffron. I'm also surprised at how much I like Zucchini Pumpkin Bread and Cinnamon Bread Pudding, since I don't normally care for bakery scents. To be honest, the only one I can truly say I did not like is Fairy Garden...I don't know what it is but something about that one didn't agree with me!

Red Velvet Cake

The top note is a very rich creamy vanilla, middle notes are yellow cake body and sweet sugar. Smells exactly like a yellow cake freshly baked from the oven, yummy. :) My mom and dad also both really like it. He thought she was baking a cake, he was surprised when he found out it was a wax melt from Cheryl. He said it was the most vanilla thing he ever smelled. :)

I only used about 20-25% of a small scent shot, and that's enough to completely fill the living room (medium-large size), into the kitchen and down the hallway, plus up the stairs to the second floor for hours on end. It can be easily smelled even far away from the melt. Excellent scent throw, especially for such a small piece of a tart / scent shot. And I have no doubt that a large candle in this scent will throw quite well, also. Very strong and delicious, makes you want to have a piece of cake. :) If you like vanilla and cake type scents, I think you'll really like this one. :)

Bay Breeze

Top notes on this are floral and a ozoney water scent. Mid note is a powderyness. The overall effect is one of being in a garden with many flowers near the sea, but the flowers clearly stronger than the scent of the ocean. It's a pretty floral with a little warmth to it, and a smell of a lady's scented face powder, with a perfumey quality. Throw is very strong, can be smelled pretty much anywhere in the house from just 1/3 of a small scent shot, even through closed doors. As ususal, Cheryl really delivers on the scent strength and throw. :) If someone enjoys floral type scents that lean toward the perfume side, but wants some ocean notes to give it a more maritime feel, this would suit well.

Merry Mistletoe

Notes are pretty evenly blended between sort of a greenery and a berry note, with perhaps a touch of woods, and also a pleasant powdery quality, without turning all perfumey. A bit on the tart herbal side at times, as opposed to sweet. A bit more sweetness (not sugary, but just natural fruit type sweetness) in the berry note would have been welcome. Throw is strong and fills the room easily, it can be smelled at long distances with no trouble and the scent lingers nicely. If one likes such scents with only a little sweetness involved, then this might be a good one to try.

Camphor (Pure Essential Oil)

A bright menthol sort of scent combined with a sweet herbal quality. Has a refreshing affect. This one would be good if someone has a cold and wants to have something cool to breath to help clear it, would also be good for freshening up a house when cleaning and such, or if you want something cool and crisp to energize and wake you up. Very strong throw.

Mental Clarity Type (Pure Essential Oil Blend)

This has a sort of greenery and herbal quality, combined with a bit of menthol and natural light sweetness. Smells a bit like if a breeze were blowing through some bushes and various plants in your garden and you caught the aroma on the air, a very natural clean sort of scent. Throw is strong, even part of a small tart can be easily smelled not just in that room, but nearby rooms and down the hall and so on.

Volcano

Top note is a bright juicy sweet orange, mid note is a blend of fruits that goes perfectly with the orange, with perhaps just a touch of greenery for the bottom note. All smell natural and not artificial. Not perfumey or cologney at all, a wonderful clean fruit scent. :) This is an exact match for Volcano from Aspen Bay (but stronger, and thus better), for any who are wondering. A nice strong throw that fills the room and goes out into the surrounding spaces. Makes the house smell like a basket of freshly cut oranges, highly recommended.

Chocolate Fudge Cake

Top note is a deep sweet chocolate with a cocoa quality (as opposed to a chocolate bar), mid notes are a cake and brownie that gives a sense of the body of the cake itself, all go together to make a nice blend. Scent throw is strong, one votive easily filling the living room and out into the kitchen and down the hall and up the stairs, impressive for a votive candle. Also, the candle lights and burns well, a nice steady even flame with a very long burn time. If you like chocolate cake and want to have that cake part in the candle, not just chocolate, give this one a try.

Orange Evergreen

The top note is an evergreen, though not particularly piney, but rather with a little bright coolness to it, and an almost herbal quality that takes on a nice soft sweetness to the greenery when it warms. For the mid note there is a bit of a citrus blended in, but thought there might be more orange than there was. Throw is strong, easily filling the room and nearby areas. This is an interesting evergreen scent, not your typical cookie cutter, which is nice. If you like evergreen scents that are a little different, gives this one a try.

Bayberry

It's a bit hard to describe, as I suspect bayberry may be one of those plants that is rather unique and nothing else smells quite like it. The top note is a strong herbal scent, the mid note is of greenery. There's very little sweetness, and I find it a bit astringent. The throw is excellent, it can be easily smelled in and out of the living room with only a portion of a small melt/tart. Unless one happens to really like this sort of scent as is, I think a good use might be as a mid or bottom note in a blend with other scents that are very sweet. To give the candle a bit of an herbal quality and to balance out what might otherwise be too much sweetness in certain candle scents.

Bayberry Plant

It's my understanding that this is to be more of a straight bayberry type of scent, just the plant itself, with little or no other scents added. It does indeed smell very similar to the Bayberry scent above and my comments there apply here in general. But this has more sweetness, it's still a strong herbal aroma, but sweeter and smoother, with a nice softness to it. Perhaps this is what a pure bayberry smells like. It's pleasant on it's own if you like herbal greenery type scents, and I think it would make a very nice addition to other scents to give a candle a bit of an earthy quality, or to layer it when burning other candles at the same time with it.

Cedarwood (Pure Essential Oil)

This is a nice fresh scent, perhaps a bit less intense than the cedar we have here in our country (smells somewhat different to ours), but it has that cedar chest smell. And all natural, not cologney at all. A nice clean woodsy aroma, very pleasant. The throw is strong, just a part of a small tart filling the living room easily and flowing out into the kitchen and hallway and so on. If you like fresh clean scents that aren't soapy or artificial, this is a great choice. Recommended.

Ivory Woods

This scent is awesome! It is not too strong nor too light. When walking into my home when this is burning, you can definitely smell the scent but at the same time it is very subtle. Hope that makes sense:) This scent is PERFECT! I've tried quite a few scents from Cheryl and this is by far my favorite.

I have found a new favorite from Cheryl, although I have many that I love I have discovered her pumpkin pecan waffle and it is wonderful!! I will buy this again and again. My whole house smells like a bakery shop! :) Thank you Cheryl for your wonderful products and customer service!!

Sugar Cookie Royale I had to leave a review for this wonderful scent. It was strong and true to the name. It filled my home with the most delicious scent! This is a must try for bakery scent lovers!

Finally melted the Cherry Mist... I really like it! It has more sweetness then most cherry scents. Whatever your lower ratio of oil you put in was perfect. It scented the house, but didn't knock me over like the black cherry scent does. Also, Helene loved the lemon drop lotion sample (not my thing) that you sent.... so it looks like I will be ordering some of that next time.

I received a nice phone call earlier today. One of our customers whom bought gifts for his mother for Christmas, said that his mother really loves the "Candy Cane Cocoa" Also, the two candles which came with a Covered Bridge topper, and another which was a Country House. Apparently, he also was surprised how great the Candy Cane Cocoa smelt. So looks like we found another great scent to keep on our list. I personally like it as well. :-)

If anyone reading this has not ordered candles or anything else from Cheryl?s candles, u really need to. I order all the time. My fave are the ready to ship tarts. They r amazing n smell great!! My fave scents r the bakery scents. In one of my orders Cheryl included as a freebie a bar of soap made with goats milk n I absolutely love it. Her products r so wonderful. I?ve never been dissatisfied with an order from her. So go ahead and place an order and I assure u, u will be absolutely amazed when u receive your order.
