Dog Lover:

I just received my first order from Cheryl and Bob. I am NOT disappointed! The packaging alone was fantastic, then add in the super strong scents of the tarts I ordered, and this girl is in heaven! I am a tart afficiondo if I do say so myself, and I can honestly say that Cheryl and Bob make amazing tarts. I have quite a few scents to try yet; but I already know I will be a repeat customer. Cheryl is very easy to work with and she makes ordering a breeze. I also love the super fast shipping. God bless you guys.

BB

My dilemma was picking out three new ones to burn. I have tart melters in three different rooms. I picked Mojito for the kitchen, Lavender Laundry for the master bedroom and Verbena Bouquet for the spare bedroom. I am happy to say that I love each scent. They are all super, super strong and I’m very, very happy with this order. I know the rest of the scents are going to be just as great, but I’m really looking forward to trying each and every one.

It’s taking me a long time to work my way through my new scents because each one is so strong and lasts so long, I don’t want to switch them until they’re pretty much done!

I love Powder Bouquet. Love it. I also have tried Blue VerbenaSizzle and Pink Lavender, each of which I also love. We have a two story house. I had the Blue Verbena on in a spare bedroom that has a sliding door. It was gorgeous here today so I was sitting outside with my dogs, and I could smell the scent of the Blue Verbena as if I was in the same room, that’s how strong it was. Great job!

The Hot chocolate candle is divine. Normally I am apprehensive about chocolate scented wax, but this is a must have. I used to walk into my apartmemt and hurry to turn on a warmer to get rid of the smell from the apartment next door. Now I am greeted with the smell of sweet hot chocolate from the candle sitting on the counter. I can only imagine how strong it will be when I finally light it.

I have just recently found Cheryl and am sooooooooooooooo happy I did. Not only does she have WONDERFUL customer service, great TAT, but I haven't found anything I have ordered to be anything but AWESOME. I can't say I have a favorite as I like them all so much! I will say she sent me a sample of her hand cream and I absolutely love it. She is such a sweet wonderful lady and I am so happy I found her!

I have been purchasing from Cheryl now since last summer. I love her customer service and products. Pumpkin apple butter is my favorite blend from Cheryl, full of warm spices, bit of vanilla and pumpkin...very unique. Gingerbread applesauce...quickly becoming a favorite...warm homemade applesauce with a touch of gingerbread..so yummy! Black cherry...knocks me off my feet with just an ounce going in my warmer...a real strong black cherry like the kind in black cherry ice cream..all day scent. Creme de la creme zucchini bread...amazing creamy bread scent..no spice just yummy creamy bread notes...fills the house with one scallop. Strawberry marshmallow bread....a blend Cheryl made for me...reminds me sweet bread smothered in strawberry jam with a bit of butter. Lavender sugacookie....sweet cookies wrapped in a bit of herbal lavender...not overwhelming at all...just a sweet lavender with a sugar cookie note.

I have found the best Iced Oatmeal Cookie from Cheryl. Most of the tarts I have tried have been super strong! Cheryl's is a winner for me!! Lots of other scents I will be trying in the future!! Fast TAT and great CS also!! :)

Wonderful scents! The tarts I purchased have lasted well with very good throw. Cheryl is great about making recommendations about scents matching your preferences. I really like the goat's milk hand cream too.  It left my ski soft and the product smells very nice. Keep up the great work Cheryl ad thank you for the extras.

MONKEY BREAD - This is a new scent Cheryl has started carrying. As she is always so kind, she popped a sample of it in my " Cheryl Haul" order. My mom makes Monkey Bread every Christmas since we do breakfast instead of dinner. The cold smell was so-so, even when it started melting it wasn't putting off much of a scent. However, after fully melted and heated up, WOW, smelled like my mom baking! Nice strong consistent scent! For bakery scent lovers, this is a must try!

CINNAMON TOAST - .Again, Cheryl popped a sample of this scent in my order. didn't think it was going to be a good thrower, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not a super strong scent, but consistent. The scent is dead on and it's perfect for one of those relaxing days that you're just kickin' it and don't want to be slapped in the face with a super strong scent.

June 4, 2013

CREME DA LA CREME - WOW! If you're a sweets lover, this one is for you! I use 2 hot plate warmers and my house filled with this scent in no time. This is one of those slap ya in face strong scents! The scent lasted about 4 hours, but probably would have lasted longer... I think I had my warmers turned up a couple notchs to high. This one definitely falls under the Wow Strong description!

BLACKBERRY JAM BUTTER COOKIE - Yet another sample Cheryl threw in my order... darn her! I have to say, gotta love this scent! Popped in the light bulb warmer in my bathroom. Within minutes, not even completely melted my bathroom smelled wonderful. I was sitting at my kitchen table and I started sniffing and I was like that isn't what I have in the warmer out here... it was the Blackberry Jam Butter Cooker scent creeping up the hallway from the bathroom... very pleasant and impressed! It has a deep aroma that isn't to much. I'd say this falls under being a Very Strong scent. It's been in the warmer for about 8 hours burn time and no show of weakness yet. Even cold it kept my bathroom lightly scented. This one is on the list for my next order and will be one that I always have on hand!

John from Illinois

BLACKBERRY JAM BUTTER COOKIE : UPDATE - I just had to add this little update for this scent. I left a scent review for this one on June 4th and today is the 9th. I'm just now tossing this tart today! It was in my bathroom warmer, which I don't turn on all the time, but I can honestly say that this one kept it's throw for at least 23+ hours total!! It weakened a little and what I mean by weakened is that the scent wasn't crawling up the hallway. It still kept my bathroom strongly scented. I could have probably gotten another afternoon/evening out of it, but I was itching to try another sample that Cheryl threw in my order :0).

June 5, 2013

CINNAMON CRUNCH CAKE - Good morning Cheryl's tart fans. Well yesterday was Cinnamon Crunch Cake day. First time trying this scent. The throw was good and pretty consistant. It lasted about 7 hours. The scent did linger after shutting off the warmer. Even when I got up this morning I could detect a slight aroma in the air, so I would have to give the throw a rating of very strong. As far as the scent itself, it had a true, deep cinnamon smell. I am a fan of cinnamon, so this was nice. However, I really didn't detect much of the crunch cake part which was a little disappointing due to my love of the bakery scents. I admit it, I'm quilty, I did end up throwing a little pie crust in which did make it more of a bakery scent. All in all, if you love cinnamon, I would reccommend this one and I probably will order it again sometime down the road.

June 7, 2013

JELLY DONUT - It's 5:22am, sitting here with my coffee... wish I had a real donut shop jelly donut about now :0). Anyway, this is a new scent that Cheryl started carrying because I suggested it - love ya Cheryl! The jelly part of the scent is strawberry. There really wasn't much a scent cold, but it came out after melting. I talked to Cheryl while I had in the warmer. She keeps telling me "be honest John", so I am. It had mostly a strawberry scent to it, not much of a donut/bakery scent, so it really wasn't true to it's name. The throw was moderate to strong. After burning for a while, the strawberry developed a perfume twist to it. It lasted around 4 hours. I hate being negative since I suggested the scent, but as it is with everything in life, it what it is. Cheryl wants honesty because she only wants to produce good product. She appreciates the reviews because lets be real, she carries all these scents, it would be impossible for her to burn everything, lol, a nd her nose would fall off her face :0). After telling her on how this scent performed, of course she wants to fix it. However, if you like the scent of strawberry, this would be one to get.

June 7, 2013

All the scents I have tried from Cheryls Candles have been absolutely wonderful, some I cant find anywhere else. Im absolutely in love with her JOOP for men and YSATIS, LOVERS DANCE, SULTRY ANGEL, PIXIE DUST, FRUIT SMOOTHIE, PLUMERIA, all of her BANANA scents & PINEAPPLE scents -just to name a few. I have found her ratings to be accurate, so if the scent says STRONG, it is!

June 8, 2013

FUNNEL CAKE - Cheryl has done set herself up a Funnel Cake stand at the county fair! As she can tell ya, I'm the first one in line for Funnel Cake tarts every time I order. This one is on my "must have" all the time list! In fact I'll probably be ordering it by the pound from now on. This scent is totally true to it's name... it's the wonderful Funnel Cake smell without all the grease. The throw is great and definitely in the very strong category. The only possible negative is the burn time is only about, give or take, 4 hours. But thats ok, I just take another tart, break it in half, add it to the pot and it's right back to its great throw. Over time I've tried this scent from other sites and no one even comes close to touching Cheryl's version hands down!! For all the bakery/sweet scent type lovers, this is one you have to order and try. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!!

June 9, 2013

7UP POUND CAKE -  This scent lives up to it's name and description. You can definitely detect each note, even the 7up, which I was surprised about. The scent throw was between strong and very strong. As far as how long it lasts, I can't really comment on that since I didn't let it go until it stop throwing. However I would have to say that it probably would be quite a few hours of throw. The 7up part seemed to have a little perfume smell to it, but that could be just me, I have a very sensitive nose when it comes to perfume smells. Personally, this one is not for me, but don't let that stop you from trying it! Not every scent, especially as many as Cheryl has, is for everyone. In fact Cheryl says almost everyone that tries this one likes it. So all in all I'd give it a shot if the description intrigues you!

John from Illinois

June 10, 2013

ALMOND CRUNCH TORTE - This scent was definitely a different scent, it'a even hard to describe. I could smell the almond and some crunch, but there was something else mixed in there I couldn't identify. Any how, the throw was strong and I had in the warmers for about 6 hours. When I shut the warmers off, it was still giving a decent throw, but I tossed it after that, so I really can't give an accurate time frame of how long the throw really would have lasted. Again, personal preference, but this one wouldn't be at the top of my list. It wasn't bad, it just didn't do it for me. This will be one of those that I stick back in the drawer and will probably burn a few months down the road when I'm wanting something different or I'm low on tarts... lol, like that is going to happen :0). So if you like the scent description, give it a shot, it's just one of those personal likes or dislike type of scents.

June 11, 2013

CJ'S CINNAMON DONUTS - Who is CJ and where is CJ's donut shop at?? If CJ has a real donut shop, I want to order me some donuts! Lovvvvved this scent! It hit dead center to it's name and description. When first melting, it had a light airy scent. I thought great, another light bakery scent... I guess I expect thing to much, to fast. After about 30 minutes of being totally melted my house smelled sooooo good, just like a donut shop. You could smell the cinnamon as well as the doughy donut. Scent strength fell into the strong category and it's burn time was around 7 to 8 hours. Even when I shut the warmers off it still had a light scent going on which would have easily scented a small room. This one will be added to my purchase again list! I certainly would recommend the bakery scent lovers to give it a try!

June 14, 2013

STRAWBERRY FILLED COOKIES (CC) - This is one of Cheryl's own creations. I like this one. It filled practically the whole house with scent so I'd have to say the scent strength was very strong. However, it wasn't over bearing, just a consistent level of scent. There was more strawberry to it then cookie, but all in all, a good scent. I wished it had just a little more of the cookie/dough base scent to it, but that's just me and my personal preference...lol, I'm picky when it ya comes to my real food and as Cheryl can tell ya, my bakery scents too. She gets it though, we all like what we like. That's why I'm trying so many (way to many) of her scents and tracking them so I can narrow it down to the ones that are m favorites. After a while I did add a little sugar cookie to it which I have to say, rounded it off perfectly! If you're a real tart burner, then you know we all add a little something now and then to tweak the scent. I would definitely order this one again and definitely recommend it to the bakery scent lovers!

June 14, 2013

Ooooops, I forgot...this one last a long time! I had it in m warmers for 9 hours and it's still in them. I started my kitchen warmer as soon as I got up this morning. I'm sitting here with my coffee enjoying the same strong scent as I was last night before going to bed.

June 15, 2013

STRUDEL & SPICE - Mmmmm... Strudel & Spice & everything nice! Love, love, love this scent!! This scent was amazing! I could easily detect both the strudel and the spice in this one. Easily scented almost my whole house, so this one definitely falls under the very strong category. Burn time was around 14 hours total and if it was scenting a smaller room, it would have lasted longer. lol, you know it's a good one when my dogs stop and smell the air around the table the warmer is on! Already added to my next order list. Nothing else to really say... these few words say it all!

June 15, 2013

TOFFEE MAPLE CRUNCH - Whew... this one is a very strong one! Unfortunately it didn't agree with me :0(. The toffee note of the scent was good and smelled true to it's name, but the maple note was a different story. Yes, you could tell it was maple, but it had a extreme perfume smell to it. I could tell as soon as it started melting, but I still gave it a shot because we all know scents don't truly throw the right scent until completely melted and warmed up. Again, unfortunately not much changed after fully melting. I am very sensitive to the perfume smells, but this one was so strong, anyone would detect it. I really hate leaving negative reviews, but this one was tossed after about an hour and a half. Some may like a perfume twist to their tarts and if that is the case, then this one is for you!

June 17, 2013

PEANUT BUTTER OATMEAL COOKIES - This one is another new scent Cheryl has started carrying. The scent did not live up to it's name and description. Very little peanut butter detected in the scent. If I wasn't paying close attention to review it, I probably would not even realized peanut butter was part of the mix. However, if we're basing this on if it was just a good scent or not, I definitely have to give it a thumbs up... I know, strange, right. The reason I would give it a thumbs up is because the oatmeal cookie part of the scent was wonderful! It was like oatmeal cookies fresh out of the oven. The scent is a strong thrower and lasted about 8 to 9 hours. Cheryl has also started carrying just a straight up peanut butter scent, which of course I ordered also but haven't tried yet. I think next time I'm going to throw a little peanut butter in with this scent and see what I come up with. So if you're looking for peanut butter oatmeal cookie scent, I wouldn't recomm end this one, but if you're wanting a good oatmeal cookie scent, I definitely recommend it!

June 20, 2013

KETTLE CORN - Mmmm, mmmm, mmm YUM! This is scent totally lives up to it's name and description!! I've had these tarts for little while, but was kinda ignoring them. I've tried Kettle Corn from other companies and really haven't been to impressed. Cheryl said to me "well haven't tried mine", so I ordered them, but was in no hurry to try them because of my previous encounters. Well, yesterday when I went to decide what I was melting for the day I was in the mood for something different. So I started sifting through my box. Wasn't in the mood for that deep bakery scent, wasn't in the mood for something fruity and then I picked up the Kettle Corn. I looked at them and thought what the hell, I'm gonna have to try them sometime... boy did I pick the right scent for something different! This scent filled my house with that wonderful old fashion Kettle Corn smell! Totally blew away anyone else's version! This one falls under the very strong throw catagorie. I had it in t he warmers for about 12 hours and it was still throwing a good scent. It's not something I would want everyday, but who wants the same scent everyday, but it will be in my warmers often. I just placed my next "Cheryl Haul" order (hehe like I need more tarts) and Kettle Corn was a last minute addition to the order. I definitely recommend this scent... give a try, you will be happy you did!

June 23, 2013

MAPLE PANCAKES - This one had a good smell to it. Was it true to it's name and description, um, so-so. It wasn't like I could smell the pancakes or the maple, it was like just one bakery type scent... hard to describe. I know that sounds strange, saying it had a good smell and all, but it did have a good smell to it. As far as strength, I'd say between moderate and strong. It took a little bit for it to start throwing good, but my air conditioning was on, so that could of been part of it. When melting there are many things that can effect the outcome... type of warmer, air conditioning, heat, windows open/closed, etc, etc. Would I throw it in the warmer again, sure. Would I order it again, probably, sometime down the road. Cheryl said she was thinking about trying a different version, if she does, I'm going to try that one first. My recommendation to try it.... lol, this one I'm leaving up to you. I'm not sorry I purchased it.

June 23, 2013

CINNAMON GLAZED DONUTS - Well, this is one those reviews I hate posting. This scent did not live up to it's name or description. It had a deep, weird smell to it almost like it was a bad knock off of the real scent. There was absolutely no sweet smell to it at all and the scent was a deep weird smell. Even the cinnamon part was weird. If these were real cinnamon glazed donuts. I'd say the grease was bad that they were fried in. After about an hour and half I tossed it. I can't say I would recommend this one....sorry!

John from Illinois

June 23, 2013

PRAILINE POUND CAKE - To be honest. Ii don't even know what Praline Pound Cake is supposed to smell like. This scent put off a decent throw and I'd put the strength between moderate and strong, probably more on the strong side. I could smell a slight pound cake bakery smell and I assume to what praline is supposed to smell like. Basically this is one of those scents that didn't do it for me and that would be on personal preference level. It's not like it was horrible and I had to toss it, because I did leave it in the warmers the whole time...it's just not for me. If you like the scent description. I'd have to say give it a shot, don't make a negative judgement off this review. It would be insane to sit here and say that someone is going to personally like every scent...especially with all the scents the scent junky Cheryl has. Love ya Cheryl :0)

John from Illinois

June 23, 2013

Responding to John's review on his last two reviews. As always I respect honesty and that is what you are John. I very much appreciate it, and yes, I also know how picky you are as many I assume are. LOL I love you too!!! Thank you so very much for putting up all the reviews, and hope many will follow your pattern in doing so. :-)

June 25, 2013

CHOCOLATE DRIZZLE - Mmmmm... this one is a good one!! The smell of fresh chocolate like it was being made right in my kitchen and living room! The throw was strong and it lasted about 6 to 7 hours. It was still giving a throw, but not to scent a big area. If it was in a smaller room or the bathroom I'd have to guess it would have lasted a lot longer. What was nice about it is that it was a consistent throw and since it was just chocolate, you're not sitting wondering if you're smelling this part of it or that part of it. Anywho, you can tell this is a top of the line scent. I started thinking of different mixtures I could possibly make with it. I had a little bit of regular Zucchini Bread left, so I threw that in there at about the 5 hour mark, boy did that make a great scent! If any of you leave a review, throw some ideas out there of your own special mixtures, I know I'd love to see some creative ideas. Even if you don't leave a review, I'm sure Cheryl wouldn't m ind postings of everyone's special mixtures of her scents. If you love wax, it's all about having fun with it and getting those great scents. I know with my next order I've got Cornbread Muffins coming. Don't get it wrong, the scent is great on it's own, but I'm itchin' to throw something sweet in there :0).

June 27, 2013

VANILLA CAKE POPS - One word, ok maybe two words... YUM YUM!! This scent is amazing all the way around. It hit's dead on to its name, its a very strong scent that filled my whole house and its long lasting. With cake type scents it can be a toss up because some are light throwers, not this one! It's been in my warmers for almost 11 hours now. That's pretty much it, nothing much else to say, it scored high on all levels, well besides it will be on my "always have" list. Order it, you won't be sorry!

John from Illinois

July 6, 2013

VANILLA FUDGE - This one is definitely for the sweet lovers! It smelled true to it's name and description. The throw started out strong, but went to more of a moderate strength. However, the throw did stay consistent at this strength level for the remainder of the time. As much as some of us (me) would love everything to have a strong+ throw level, it just doesn't happen that way. It was a good scent and there really isn't anything bad to say about it. Definitely would recommend giving it a try, especially for the sweet lovers!

John from Illinois

July 7, 2013

APPLE STRUDEL - Pleasantly surprised by this one. To start off, I'm just not much of a apple scent person. It's one of those scents that I will get, but only bust it out every few months when I'm tired of everything and really want something different, which was yesterday when I tossed this one in the warmers. The scent throw was in the strong category and it lasted about 6 to 7 hours. The scent itself wasn't bad. It was consistent and well balanced between the apple and strudel notes. I would definitely recommend trying this one. When the mood strikes for something with apple in it, this is the one I will be popping in the warmers.

July 10, 2013

CAKE BATTER ICE CREAM - This one is soooo good! Ranks right up there with Vanilla Cake Pops. It had a strong throw & the scent was great. The strong throw didn't last as long as though, only about 5 hours, but I threw a half of another one in and it regained it's strength. Besides that, it ranked right up there. It's definitely one I recommend and that I'll purchase again!

July 11, 2013

FRENCH VANILLA CRUNCH - I have to say, I was pretty impressed with this one. I've been putting off melting it because I thought I was picking up a perfume scent on the cold smell... lol, I almost gave them away, but I'm glad I didn't. This scent scored high on all levels! It had a strong throw, stood true to it's description, the throw lasted around 11 hours and there was no detection of a perfume scent after warming at all. I highly recommend giving this one a try!!

July 20, 2013

LEMON BOMB COOKIE - This is one of Cheryl's own creations and she certainly named it correctly, they are the bomb! I'm not a lemony type person in general, but I wanted to give this one a try because it is one of Cheryl's own creations and it gives me something different to turn to when I'm looking for something different or something just fresh in the air. I have to say, pretty damn impressed! When I popped it in the warmer I was hoping it wasn't going to be a knock me over lemon scent and it wasn't. Very well crafted scent! The throw was strong, consistent and long lasting. I had it in the warmers for about 9 to 10 hours and it was still giving a throw. There was a wonderful great balance between the lemon note and the pastry/cookie note. I highly recommend giving this one a try if you are a citrus and/or bakery scent type person. You will be very pleased!

July 23, 2013

PUMPKIN CAPPUCCINO - It's weird, I always avoid putting the coffee/cafe' type tarts in the warmers. They sound good when I order them, but it never sounds good when deciding what to melt for the day. When I finally break down and put them in the warmers it's always a wonderful aroma... ok, so I'm a little weird. Anywho, this scent was great. Clearly had the pumpkin note with cappuccino mixed in. I honestly was expecting more of a coffee aroma to it, but that wasn't the case, but that isn't a bad thing either. It was a nicely balanced, consistent scent. The throw was a very strong one and lasted a good 14+ hours. Unless you are totally only a foo foo scent type person, I definitely recommend giving this one a try, even if you're not a coffee type person!

John from Illinois

July 27, 2013

BLACKBERRY CRISP - This one is a very strong thrower and lasted about 14 hours. On the cold sniff it had a little bit of perfume smell to
it, but once I threw it in the warmers it started throwing a good scent and definitely could tell it was blackberry. As time went by though, the
perfume smell slowly started coming through and became stronger. If you've read my other reviews, then you know I'm just not a perfume type person. It wasn't so awful that I had to toss it, but by the end, it was pretty dominate. All in all, this one just isn't for me. As I've said before, this is a personal preference, not a scent bashing. The blackberry note was strong and consistent the whole time. So if you're a person that doesn't mind or likes a perfume twist to your tarts, then this definitely is one to try!

July 29, 2013

WILDBERRY MOUSSE - Gotta love this one!! When I saw this one on the scent list I thought wow, that sounds yummy, lol, but I wasn't talking about a scent, it really did sound good and will be looking for it at the grocery store. Anyway, of course I ordered it. Wow... very impressed! True to it's name and description. The throw is very strong, consistent and lasts a verylong time! Today is the 3rd day I've had this in my bathroom and it's still throwing! The warmer is only shut off when I'm sleeping. Now today it has lost the mousse part of the scent, but the mixed berry part is still going. That's not to bad for 3 days! I highly recommend trying this one for sure!

VANILLA PUMPKIN PIE - I've decided to rename this scent to "Thee Perfect Pumpkin Pie" :0). Cheryl... oh Cheryl, what do you think?? This scent was amazing! Stood true to it's name and description. The throw was awesome and definitely at the very strong side of things. It was a perfect blend of all the notes from the vanilla enhanced pumpkin to the crust. Years ago we used to have a restaurant here called Bakers Square and they made a Vanilla Pumpkin Pie. I would always order one to bring to the Thanksgiving family get together. This scent totally brought me back to those days. I still have it in the warmers and still going strong for 9 hours now and I suspect I will get a least a few more hours, if not more out of it. I know by general rule this scent would be more of a fall/Thanksgiving time of year scent... but I like to break the rules. I will be popping this in the warmers all year round. If you like pumpkin pie, you really don't have much of a choice, you ha ve to get this one!!

CORNBREAD (NEW VERSION) - This scent definitely stood true to it's name! The house filled with a rich, deep aroma of cornbread like it was baking in the oven. The throw was very strong and it's lasting power was about 4 to 5 hours. As I do with most that only last this long, I just tossed a half of a tart in and it regained it's strength. On a personal level, I think I like the Cornbread Muffin better, but this one came in at a strong 2nd. If you're considering trying this one, I would recommend getting both to try. I think with these two scents it would be a matter of personal preference and of course you would want to choose which one you like the best for future purchases :0).

YA YA'S CINNAMON BAKLAVA - Yep... yep this is a goody!! This scent takes on it's name and description 100%! The aroma filled my whole house, which makes this a very strong thrower. The scent was just simply amazing! It hung in there with lasting power, 15 to 16 hours and probably could have gotten another couple out of it if I would have turned up the heat on the warmers. If you are a Cinnamon Bread Pudding fan, you have to try this one. I guarantee you'll love it just as much! I've already added it to my master "must order again" list. I highly recommend trying this one!!

GRAHAM CRACKER - I tried a scalloped tart in this scent and really like it a lot. I normally do not eat graham cracker save for the occasional graham cracker base in a pumpkin pie or as part of a smore's campfire treat, but this scent makes me want to go get a box of it to eat all at once! Only thing is I know that it smells better than eating the real thing, LOL. I am glad that Cheryl carries this scent as it is a hard one to find...not too many candle companies carry this scent.

I logged the scent throw to be about 12-14 hrs with it tapering off in strength towards the end but still enough to scent a room. The throw I would say is somewhere between MEDIUM-STRONG. I would prefer it to be stronger as I'd like to have total saturation of this scent through a large room. But this is still an awesome scent and I am going to have to get more of it. :) -

PUMPKIN CRUNCH CAKE - Again, this is one of Cheryl's scents that put off the aroma of it's name and description. It was a strong scent as well as it having lasting power. I've had it in my office warmer for 10 hours without weakening. I shut it off for the night, but about to go in and crank it back on. I suspect this will probably make it through another few hours easily. It will be a good day today in my house... Monkey Bread in the kitchen/family room (this one is in my top 3 favorites, so I don't break it out to often, but when I do, I so remember why it's in my top favorites!), Mixed Berry Mousse in the bathroom and Pumpkin Crunch Cake in the office... lol, no wonder my nose gets confused sometimes :0). So yea, as far as the Pumpkin Crunch Cake, I give it a thumbs up!!

FRUIT LOOPS - WOW, amazingly strong thrower!!! I'm sitting in my basement family room right now and can smell it like I have a warmer down here! I made the mistake of taking a sniff right above the warmer... um, not only did it clear my sinus's, but I think they are good for a year! That's one way of burning the nose hairs away :0). The scent totally fits it's name and description. lol... it's so strong though, you'd swear someone lit a box of Fruit Loops on fire! I think this the first time in I don't know how long I haven't had something in a warmer in another room... what's the point, I wouldn't be able to smell it anyway :0). So yep, yep, if you like fruity scents, like the cereal Fruit Loops and a scent that is super strong, this is the one to order for sure!

I have been melting Lavender Tangerine every evening for about four days - the same melt! It really lasts and it is strong enough I need to shut off the melter every little bit so I don't run the cats out of the room!

PUMPKIN PIE ICE CREAM - This was a good scent. Very similar to Cheryl's Vanilla Pumpkin Pie minus the crust. The throw was between medium and strong, more towards the strong side. As far as the scent being it's name sake, I'm not really sure what ice cream is supposed to smell like in tarts since I really haven't had much luck with this type of scent. All I can say is I definitely detected the pumpkin and vanilla, but it did have a good aroma to it. It's lasting power was around 6 hours. Since this was a sample that Cheryl scent me, I didn't have anymore to add to it when it started fizzling out, so I added some of the Vanilla Pumpkin Pie. This rounded it off nicely and kept the scent going the rest of the day. Like I said, this is a good scent, but on a personal level, I'd rather have the Vanilla Pumpkin Pie :0).

STICKY BUNS - Another good scent! This one had a nice spicy cinnamon bun aroma to it with a little something extra added in. It was either caramel or caramelized sugar or something like that, but it added just enough twist for the aroma not to be just a regular cinnamon bun scent. The scent strength was strong, not fill your whole house strong, but definitely strong in areas where the warmers were at. The lasting power was around 9 hours or so. Again, this was a sample I received from Cheryl (gotta love Cheryl), so I didn't have any extra to add in when it started weakening. If I did, I know I would have gotten several more hours out of it. Personally, I love cinnamon bun type scents. I like them spicy and I like them with more of a buttery and less spicy aroma depending on the mood I'm in. If you look at Cheryl's scent list, with this one now added in, she covers all these bases with this type of scent. As far as this one, I definitely give it a thumbs up and recommend ordering it!

LOLLAPALOOZA COOKIE (CC) - This scent had a pleasant aroma and lived up to it's description except the sugar cookie part was kinda faint. The scent strength was a medium throw and it's lasting power was around 7 hours. All in all it's a good bakery scent, just on personal level I like a stronger throw. I'm finding out that sugar cookie scents are just not strong throwers in general, it's nothing that Cheryl is doing wrong because I got to give it to her, she's trying!

August 28, 2013

BOO BERRY - This is a new scent Cheryl has started carrying. The description says it's blueberry, strawberry, vanilla with a hint of sugar. On the cold sniff I could detect the blueberry, but after melting, I didn't detect the blueberry as strong. In fact it was a different aroma all together. It was a pleasant and good aroma, but not like I thought it was going to be, which isn't a bad thing because the scent was good. It just tells ya, as I always say, never judge a scent until it is completely melted and throwing. The scent strength was between medium and strong, more on the stronger side and it lasted a good 8 hours. I give it a thumbs up and say it's worth a try.

BANANA - This is a scent that is hard to find in its pure and unadultered form. In general I find that banana scents are light scents to my nose so was curious about this one. I'd say in the large room where it was melting (single scalloped tart) it put out a mild to moderate throw. The begin of the throw starts off as a banana extract scent similar to that used in baking banana cake goodies, but fear not, after a while it does turn into a true banana scent. At that point I immediately saw visions of the inside white banana fruit and the thin "banana gristle" that I peel off whenever I eats a banana. That's how realistic it is! The only negative of this scent is that the throw only lasts at same strength for about 4 hrs.

ICED OATMEAL COOKIE - This was a very unusual scent for me. On cold sniff it had an almost "earthy" note to it that I thought was unusual for a bakery scent. I quickly checked the scent description and noted that there was a "spice" note in it. What kind of a spice? I wondered. Its not so much of a baking spice per say to my nose, but more of like a "sandalwood" or in that line of "earthy/luxury" notes. Overall, I'd say this scent was confusing for me, but the plus side is that it is STRONG and lasted 8 hrs plus. I finally had to take it out of the warmer instead of waiting until if stopped throwing scent, as I really wanted to try other scents and this scent was just a little to unusual for me. But, I know others like it a lot.

September 1, 2013

NEROLI - I have been on an orange blossom floral scent hunt for about a year now. Neroli I have read is the true name of the scent that I have been searching for but not too many candle companies carry it. I am quickly learning that it is probably a tough scent to get right and almost belongs in the designer fragrance category. I had high hopes for this scent, hoping it would end my search and I could get it in a large candle. To my nose the single large tart melting in a large room had a STRONG throw and yes, a floral scent....but it wasn't quite exactly reminescent of the orange blossom blooms I recall smelling when I drive through the orange groves of Florida. It seems to be missing the "delicate sweet" note that perfumes the air when the orange tree is in bloom. I also noted that at least to my nose, it has a somewhat "soapy" scent which for me was a little disappointing as I'm not fond of soapy scents, though I know others like them. Cannot comment on how long the throw lasted as was eager to try another scent so only had it going for a few hrs.

- MJ

September 1, 2013

ORANGE BLOSSOM (Floral) - This scent to my nose is very similar to the NEROLI scent that I also reviewed. I'd say that the only difference is that the Neroli's throw is stronger. However, this scent does have a good MODERATE throw. Also only had this melting (single large scalloped tart) for a few hrs, as wanted to compare to other scents in the "orange blossom" versions that day.

- MJ

September 1, 2013

ORANGE BLOSSOM w/ VANILLA - This scent should more appropriately be named " Orange Creamsicle" than "Blossom" as I was not getting a floral note from it at all, but more of a food scent. Its been my experience though in searching for the authentic orange blossom scent that a lot of the time the fragrance makers will label it as orange blossom but when you melt or burn it its a citrus-y or in this case a foody scent, as opposed to "floral". The scent was STRONG in a large room (single large scalloped tart) and threw well. Did not log total hrs as still has not finished yet, but thought I'd add this scent to my series of "orange blossom" scent reviews. This would be a good scent for someone actually looking for "Orange Creamsicle" (like the frozen dessert) than floral.

September 1, 2013

FRANKINCENSE & MYRRH - Melted this scent as a large scalloped tart and it is really nice. To my nose it is a powdery scent with an earthy base note. I will have to burn it a little longer to see if its more earthy or powdery after a couple of hrs. Was melting in a large room and could smell it well so I'd say that the throw was very good. Not done with it yet, so do not have how long the scent lasts yet. I am thinking that this would be a neat scent in the soaps. There is a little bit of a luxury feel to it. Very nice!

PUMPKIN CAKE (CC) - This is one of Cheryl's newest scent creations. She snuck it in on my last order for me to give it a trial run. However, since you are seeing this review, that means there is no more trial about it (Cheryl doesn't know this yet, but she does now), she nailed it right out of the gate. When I first popped it in the warmer and it melted, the pumpkin note over powered the cake note, but with pumpkin being such a strong scent from the get go, this is bound to happen. I want to make it clear though. It wasn't to much of a pumpkin scent, it just over powered the cake note. After about an hour to an hour and half it settled down and the aroma was a good combination being able to detect the right amount of each note. The throw was strong and consistent. The lasting power was around 12 hours, with the cake note weakening some before then, but hardly enough to make you want to toss it. Normally I would have just added a little more to pump it back up, but s ince this was a sample, I didn't have anymore to add. So I popped some Vanilla Pumpkin Pie in and I must say, not to bad. I initially started this at 9am and I'm sitting here at 2am the next day with it still going in the warmers. I definitely recommend trying this one, especially if you're pumpkin lover.

CAFE CREME DE LA CREME ZUCCHINI - I love this scent! Its delicious and I will definitely have to reorder and get this in a candle at some point. It is a STRONG scent and so far I have it melting in a large room for about 4 hrs but am not done with it yet.

-MJ

September 7, 2013

MULBERRY - I have no idea what a real mulberry should smell like but my interpretation of this scent is definitely a "berry" smell and something creamy, so like a "berries and cream" after its been burning for a while. Note though that the cream part of it is only a suggestion and the berry is more prominent. The scent throw is MILD (in a large room) to MODERATE ( in a medium sized room) after its been allowed to melt for awhile. So far I've had it burning on and off for a total of 7 hrs and there may still be some scent but it is getting lighter.

COTTON CANDY FROSTING - This scent is another sample that I received from Cheryl. I have to admit, I've never been a cotton candy person. I used to watch other kids when I was younger get it and all I could see is that it made a gooey mess out of their hands and faces and that wasn't for me... guess I was kinda prissy like that :0). Thus, I couldn't tell you what cotton candy is supposed to smell like if I wanted to. However, if cotton candy is supposed to smell like what this scent smells like, maybe I should have dove into the gooey mess just once. The aroma this scent threw was amazing, loved every minute of it. At first I didn't think it was going to perform to well, but it surprised me. The throw was a strong and consistent. The lasting power wasn't half bad either clocking in at around 11 hours. This is going to be one of those scents that you can enjoy on it's own or would make a great mixer as well (already have a couple of ideas in mind). So definitely a t humbs up on this one and recommend giving it a try! I know I've said this before, but I wish everyone would leave more reviews and/or their own unique scent mixing ideas.... who knows, Cheryl just might like it and add it to her line of way to many scents already :0).

CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE - This one was a very realistic and dead on scent! My experiences with the chocolate scent in general haven't been the best, they tend to smell cheap and/or fake. This one you'd swear you have a warm chocolate cake fresh out of the oven sitting on your counter. The throw was a little different, it was between medium and strong, but was one of those ones that if you walked threw the room it was in, you'd turn around and say "wow, that smells really good". It lasted around 8 to 9 hours. It was still giving a throw, but not enough for a bigger area. If you're a bakery/sweets type person, I definitely say give a try... it's the closest you're gonna come to chocolate cake unless you're gonna pull the flour, eggs, sugar, etc out and make a real one!

STRAWBERRY CRUNCH - This one is a good one! It's strawberry meets bakery!! I knew on the cold smell (I know, I know... I always say don't judge on the cold smell) that this one was gonna be a good one. I threw it in the warmers and I was right. You instantly could smell the strawberry and the crunch. The 2 aroma's blended so nicely together. The scent was strong, consistent and very refreshing. Even with being an extreme lover of bakery scents, it's nice to throw a fruity one in to refresh the senses and this one even has a little bakery thrown in. The lasting power was pretty good too, about 12 hours. If you are at all a lover of fruity scents, you have to give this one a try. It's already on my list for the next time I place an order.

September 17, 2013

SWEET SANDALWOOD - This was a very nice "elegant" scent both hot and on cold sniff. The "sweet" note takes the edge off of the straight up sandalwood scent and the combo is pleasing. I had a regular sized scalloped tart melting in a large room and found the scent throw to be STRONG for about 6 hrs and then tapers off after that. This is a scent that I think would also be good in a bath and body product.

-MJ

September 17, 2013

VANILLA SANDALWOOD - On cold sniff this scent is nice and "refreshing". When first melting this regular sized scalloped tart there was a weird start up scent that defies description...at first I thought it was my cat...no joke...then realized it was the tart which was puzzling. Left it on to see what would happen and glad I did. Once it got going the scent is exactly like the Yankee Candle version of Vanilla Satin, which is a scent that I have always liked. Scent throw was MODERATE in both the large room and the medium sized room I moved it around to. I am not done with it yet but so far have had it going for about 4 hrs at same strength.

-MJ

September 17, 2013

WILD CHERRY - This is a very STRONG scent. I was melting a single regular sized scalloped tart in both a medium sized room and then moved it to a large room and it still was very strong. Although it was a cherry scent, to my nose it was more like the cough syrup type of cherry scent...something I spent a good portion of my childhood years having to take, so it was not the scent for me. Cherry scents are hard for me to find though, they usually smell like this to me. It remained at strong scent throw for the 6+ hours that I had it on for off and on before I finally decided that I'd had enough so put it out. I am sure it could have lasted a few more hours though.

-MJ

September 17, 2013

AMISH HARVEST - Did not know what to expect with this one but wanted to try it out. On cold sniff could not smell much, but once melted it was very much like a spice cake. A very SPICY spice cake with most likely a cinnamon to it. I am very sensitive to the cinnamon scent so when it is in a tart or candle it tends to drown out other notes unless they are stronger than the cinnamon. Keeping this in mind, after about 3 hrs the bakery scent disappeared and then it became all spice (cinnamon) scent. I let it go for a total of about 4 hrs before I had to taper the cinnamon off by mixing it with a graham cracker tart that I was finishing up. The end result was interesting. The tart I was melting was a regular sized scalloped tart in a medium sized room.

Amish Harvest - Strength is STRONG

October 9, 2013

BLACK CHERRY- A realistic cherry. It is lighter than the Wild Cherry, but more authentic to my nose. Had a regular sized scalloped tart melting in a medium sized room. Scent starts off light but then does build strength later to a Moderate strength. Scent lasts for several hours.

-MJ

October 9, 2013

BERRY CREME BRULEE- This is a very interesting scent. It starts off as a sharp strawberry scent and then becomes a sweet brulee bakery scent afterwards, but still has the berry note. Had a deep dish regular sized scallop tart melting in a large room. There the scent was STRONG and lasted about 11 plus hours.

-MJ

October 9, 2013

CORNBREAD - Authentic cornbread scent. Had a heart shaped scalloped tart melting in a large room and the scent was MODERATE-STRONG. Scent lasted for about 8 hrs.

October 13, 2013

Hey MJ with the Cornbread scent, I totally agree with your review! On a personal note... let it cure for a month or two and you will be even more amazed with it! I love this scent, so I now keep 2 packs of tarts in it so one is doing the curing time while the other is the one I'd used. Another thing that is great when warming it, add maple, omg, frickin' amazing!! I've also mixed cherry with it and that turned out really good too.

October 9, 2013

CHERRY BLOSSOM - Not sure how to describe this scent. I have trouble with most florals being either too light or too heady and most times "soapy". Thought I'd try this scent but it was super strong and not exactly the scent for me so didn't melt it for too long. Scent strength: STRONG

 -MJ

October 9, 2013

CREME DE LA CREME - This is a strange scent for me by itself, however, when mixed with other scents it can be amazing. On its own the scent strength is super strong and lasts a very long time. I only used a single regular sized scalloped tart in a medium sized room. I've tried adding other scents to it to tone it down some and its still overpowering them. So far its been melting for several hrs and shows no signs of tapering off just yet. Scent strength: STRONG

October 13, 2013

WHITE CAKE - This scent stood true to it's name and description. It smelled just like a white caking baking and/or freshly out of the oven sitting on the counter cooling off. The throw was med to strong and lasted about 6 to 7 hours. After smelling it for a while though, I felt like it was missing something, like the frosting. I almost popped some Cotton Candy Frosting in with it. Think I'll be trying that the next time I order it :0).

October 13, 2013

DIVINE CAKE - This scent was yummy! Definitely held true to it's description and pretty much to it's name since it was really good. If you read my White Cake review, I said it felt like it was missing something... well this one made up for it. It is white cake with the sweetness built in. The description says raspberries, strawberries and buttercream frosting. I don't necessarily detect exact raspberry or exact strawberry notes. It's the sweetness of both blended smoothly with the buttercream frosting. The throw was strong and the lasting power was about 8 to 9 hours. This is one of those scents that if I would have had more of it, I could have easily added a little more and it would have boosted the power of it right back up. As I've said before, Cheryl can tell ya, I'm very picky with my scents. I've started ordering her single tart cups to try a scent first before investing in a pack of tarts, so I didn't have anymore to add. It is on my list for the next order , lol, and I just got a order in a couple days ago... yep, yep, I'm a junkie!! So yeah, if you are a bakery freak like me, you have to give this one a try!

John from Illinois

October 13, 2013

STRAWBERRY CREAM - Another one that holds true to it's name and description. It has a perfect blend of strawberry and cream. The throw is on the stronger side and the lasting power is amazing. I like fruity scents in my bathroom, so that is where this gets used. I can get a good 2 days out of this one, 3 if I want to deal with the scent strength being on the lighter side. My bathroom warmer is a bulb warmer (that's what I love about Cheryl's parasoy, it will work in a bulb warmer if it's not overloaded) and bulb warmers are a lower temp warmer. If you try this in a hot plate warmer, I don't know if you would get 2 or 3 days out of it, but I know you'd get a good 1 or 2 out of it. So yeah, for a fruity scent, I give it a thumbs up for sure!

October 26, 2013

VANILLA SUGARED SHORTBREAD - I gotta say, Cheryl did it! She found a scent like this that FINALLY has the true aroma of shortbread, the throw is strong and it lasts! This is one of those scents in general, like sugar cookie, that normally has a light throw and doesn't have very long lasting power. Well she broke the general rule on this one!! It was just like I mixed the dough up and was baking it in my own oven! This will be added to my have on hand all the time list. If you like bakery scents, you have to order it!

October 26, 2013

STRAWBERRY SLUSH - Gave this one a shot because I'm always looking for different unique fruity scents for my bathroom. When it first started melting and probably for the first half hour after melting I wasn't to sure. It had a different aroma to it, but after that, I was pleasantly surprised and it smelled exactly like a strawberry slushy. The strength was between medium to strong, but keep in mind I use a bulb warmer in the bathroom. If thrown in a hot plate warmer, I could see where the strength would be strong. The lasting power is good too... I'm on day 2 and it's still as strong as when I first put it in the warmer. I will be ordering this scent again and if you like unique fruity scents, then this one is worth a try!

October 26, 2013

HONEY CINNAMON - Let's see, O-M-G! Honey frickin' Cinnamon... this scent is AMAZING!!!! This scent has now gained a spot in the top 3 of my favorites!! Haven't decided which one it knocked out of place yet, but it will. This scent is amazing.... oh, wait, I said that already :0). It is dead on to it's description, the throw is super strong (not sickening super strong) and the lasting power is a good 15 to 16 hours and even at that it still had a light throw to it!! After about 8 hours I decided to do some testing with it and threw some pie crust in.... yep, yep I now had me some honey cinnamon pastries going on. Bakery scent lovers you HAVE TO try this one... you will not be disappointed!!

October 29, 2013

HOLIDAY COOKIES - Cheryl is on a roll! Another cookie scent that is true to it's description, was on the stronger side of things and lasted about 8 to 9 hours which is all really good for a sugar cookie type scent for all these categories!! I think with one of the notes being cake it really helped stabilize it! All in all I give a definite thumbs up & definitely recommend trying it, especially if you love sugar cookies!

October 29, 2013

BEAR CLAWS - This is a new version of this scent that Cheryl is carrying now. I've always been a Bear Claws fan, but I have to say I'm more of a fan now! You could smell in the aroma all the usual notes of Bear Claws, but what I think does it for this version is how it smells like everything is blended together well. It almost had a touch of creaminess to it. The strength of the throw was strong and it lasted around 11 hours with still having a light throw to it even at that point. If you're a Bear Claws fan, I think you would definitely appreciate this one!

November 15, 2013

CARAMEL CORN - This scent was kinda everywhere on the board. It's true to it's name, the aroma definitely is caramel popcorn. The throw was pretty decent. It lasted well, total about 8 to 9 hours, but the caramel part started weakening out before that. So I guess it's a toss up if it's something you would like or not. lol... I had some caramel on hand, so I tossed a little in and it livened back up again :0).

BIRTHDAY CAKE - Um, being the extreme bakery scent person that I am... why am I just now trying this for the first time?! This scent was pretty good! The description says hints of berry, but I didn't pick those notes up at all. All I smelled was the sweet rich aroma of cake. The scent throw was strong and lasted around 10 to 11 hours. It did weaken about 3/4's of the way through though, but still a good burn/melt. I certainly will be ordering it again! If you like the deep, rich, sweet bakery scents, then you should give this a try!

TWINKIE - To be honest, it's been many, many years since I've had a Twinkie. I couldn't tell you what a Twinkie is supposed to smell like. However, this scent was a good smelling scent whether it actually smells like a Twinkie or not :0). The aroma was similar to the Birthday Cake scent with whipped cream mixed in. Since Twinkie's are a cake with whipped cream, I'd have to say it is probably close to a Twinkie aroma. The throw was definitely on the stronger side and it lasted around 8 hours. Just like the Birthday Cake, the scent strength started puttering out about 3/4's of the way through, but still kept a medium strength throw going. I will be purchasing it again!

COUNTRY SWEET MUFFINS - Honestly didn't know what to expect from this scent. The first time I ordered it there was an issue and things didn't turn out they where supposed to. The reason I mentioned this is I wanted to make point about Cheryl and her awesome customer service. I contacted Cheryl about the problem. There were no questions asked. She immediately took care of me and replaced the tarts there was an issue with! If you ever have a issue or problem (because face it, we don't live in a perfect world) contact her, she'll always make it right! Ok, as far as the Country Sweet Muffins I'd have it stood true to it's name. The aroma had a nice blend of bakery muffin with the sweetness baked in. My kitchen smelled like the oven was cranked on and I was baking. The scent throw was strong and could smell it all through my house. The lasting power on this one was about 10 hours, with still having a light throw. I definitely recommend giving it a try!
